Ricki Gero's Second Annual 60th Birthday Bash! Be there or be square!

Friday night, August 11, at Memories in Margate we celebrated my (Ricki Gero's) Second Annual 60th Birthday. Memories is on Amherst and Madison Avenues, in Margate, NJ, a suburb of Atlantic City. It's an oldies bar, as in REAL oldies, from the 50s, 60s and early 70s later in the evening. In 2005, we jitterbugged, ponied, stomped (as in the Bristol Stomp), line danced, cha cha-d and had a wonderful time. And this year was even better. Oldies love oldies!
The price of admission for my guests, those with the purple rubber bracelets, which my husband Bob handed out at the door, was a check to benefit LMSdr - to my very own research fund. In 2005, the bash raised over $20,000.00 and I hope that this year's will, at least, match that number. We'll count this year's donations as soon as we can.
