Leiomyosarcoma Direct Research Foundation announces its support and participation in 2007 Team Sarcoma Initiative Event with a Mini Triathlon.
50 teams in 13 different countries and 21 states planned events as part of the 2007 Team Sarcoma Initiative.
Mini-Triathlon to Kick Sarcoma's Butt.
We had participation over 3 days.
Day 1
Friday, July 13th 7:00 am
"A Bad Luck Day for Sarcoma"
A 1-mile swim at the Jenks High School Pool, led by the Jenks Trojan Swim team,
followed by a pancake breakfast.
Day 2
Saturday, July 14th 11:00 am
The second event was a 10-mile bike ride along the Arkansas River Parks in Tulsa, concluding in a hamburger cookout.
Day 3
Sunday, July 15th 6:00 pm
The concluding event was a 3-mile run/walk around the LaFortune Park. There was ice cream
after the event.
