What: A "Sarcoma Update"
When: Friday, July 18th, 6PM
Where: 1st Floor Seminar Room of the Smilow Building, NYU Medical Center.
Team Sarcoma/ NYU Langone Medical Center hosted a "Sarcoma Update" for
sarcoma patients, survivors, caregivers and anyone interested in knowing
more about this cancer. The update included talks by Marc Ballas, MD
(Medical oncologist, Assistant Professor, NYU School of Medicine), James C
Wittig, MD (Chief, orthopedic oncology; Mount Sinai School of Medicine), and
a sarcoma patient. A wine and cheese reception followed on the Ground
floor of the Smilow building for survivors, patients, and families to talk
with clinicians and scientists.
