Dawn, Gloria, Iqbal, and Ricki served this foundation from its inception in 2006.
Dawn served on the board of directors from the beginning and inspired many to help find a cure for Leiomyosarcoma.
Gloria served as a volunteer at LMSdr and did LMS research for her husband, Joe, who fought LMS for two years. After Joe died, Gloria served as a board member until her death in 2008.
Iqbal served on the board of directors from the beginning. He was in constant contact with LMS researchers and over the years gave sound advice to many Leiomyosarcoma survivors.
Ricki served on the board of directors from the beginning. She was also part of our volunteer staff in charge of Fundraisers. And over the years she held her own fundraisers to raise money for Leiomyosarcoma research.
We miss them.
